Waiting on Wednesday (Hex Hall #3, by Rachel Hawkins)

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme started by Jill @ Breaking the Spine where we can discuss books we are eagerly waiting for!  I just finished the second book of the Hex Hall series and it ended with a cliffhanger, so I am definitely waiting for the third to come out!  Unfortunately the second was a newer book, so the release date for the third hasn't even been narrowed to a specific month yet and the cover hasn't been released either.  I definitely have a long time to wait and I hate that!  I always felt like this while waiting for new Harry Potter books to come out too, it seemed to take forever, but I suppose a good book does take a long time, so I'll try to be patient.  :)  Update: the expected release date is now March 13th, 2012.

    Wow! That is a long wait when the book just released and there's nothing much on the third book! Hope the wait won't be too painful and filled with other great reads while you wait!

    Wow that's awesome! I thought I read somewhere on B&N that you can only "lend" a book once. Is that true?

    I have about 13 books right now, but I can't lend them because they're all e-galleys that I got from NetGalley. If you've never heard of that, you should check it out! Here's the link. NetGalley

    Hello, and thanks for stopping by Starting the Next Chapter and becoming a follower. I've been a follower of yours for a few weeks and yours is one of the blogs I read regularly. :)

    I may have to pick up this series. I love the Harry Potter series and was sorry to see them end. I've got the James Potter fan fic/spin off waiting on my NOOK, but am dubious as to their quality. I guess there's only one way to find out!

    Liz - I'm going to respond over on your blog to make sure you get it, but yes, that is true. Unfortunately you can only lend a book once ever, but it's still nice to do and I am constantly getting more and more books to lend and my friends haven't been borrowing them very much so I'd be happy to add you.

    I think the third one will probably come out next winter, but I'm not sure. I can't wait for it either!

    I wish books were as easy to produce as television shows and we only had to wait a week or a few months at most for a new one! :)

    The Hex Hall series sounds like such a good one--I've got the first two coming from the library and I can't wait to read them. I hate it when I finish a new release and realize it's going to be a long wait for the next one!

    AH I hate that. I think that's why I wait so long to start a series. Then I don't have to be stuck pining for the next book in the series!!

    I have heard great things about this series--must bump it up higher on my TBR list! I also have a lot of books on my nook that are lend-able. Haven't found anyone to lend with. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

    do any of you know other books like the hex hall series?? i loved it!!! i really enjoy books about schools with mystery magic and creatures!!!! cant wait for the next one!
